In 2023, we continued providing high-quality, no-cost child care to families through our After School Program. In ASP, students enjoy a variety of activities that enrich them in every way—relationally, spiritually, emotionally, academically, and more.

In 2023, RATL:

  • Maintained and grew our mental health counseling program for ASP kids.

  • Shared Bible stories and the truth of the gospel weekly.

  • Provided a space for kids to develop meaningful relationships with other children in a similar stage of life and explore new hobbies and interests.

  • Offered tutoring and homework help so students can thrive in school.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

We call it "Summer Camp" because it feels like camp all summer long - we sing, dance, make crafts, explore through field trips, and most of all, we have loads of fun! In 2023 our theme was "Making Waves". We spent the summer talking through what it looks like to make waves for Jesus. 2023 Summer Program highlights include the opportunity for students to participate in dance camp, attend overnight camp with Camp Lighthouse, participate in swim lessons, learn to write songs, and more.

WOMEN’S EVENTS

One of our favorite weekly activities around RATL is our Women’s Bible study. This is a space for RATL women who are currently experiencing homelessness to gain a deeper understanding of the word of God while building deep relationships with other women.

FAMILY PROGRAMS

FAMILY EVENTS

Family Events bring our mission full-circle. Our goal with any Family Event is to bring families together to spend time with one another in fellowship. We love providing care-free, enriching opportunities for families. In 2023, some of our events included brunch and bingo, catered outdoor dinners, and ice cream socials!

OVERNIGHT VOLUNTEERS

2023 was a year of celebrating how far we can go when we join together. Accomplishing 10 years of service was a huge milestone in the life of our organization, because it represents the lives of over 3,500 individuals who have been impacted by this ministry. We could not do this work without your prayers and support. 2023 was a year filled to the brim with fun activities, enriching Bible studies, and overall growth in relationships. We got to walk with families experiencing homelessness, and celebrate with families as they transitioned into (and maintained) permanent housing. We are grateful to be a space where families come for high-quality resources and gospel-driven fellowship. Each passing year of service is a testament to the faithfulness of the Lord; we could not do this work without your partnership. We are looking forward to another decade of walking together!

Yours in service,

Anna Jackson
